Hey Rising Dragoons! Good to see this legion is still alive. You were a great bunch to play with. Don't know how many people who would remember me are left, but I wanted to congratulate Ryogen on keeping the legion running strong all this time. You've been at this, what, a year now? Nice work man and good for you.

Not much. Don't know that we've met, or if we have, it's been a while. I was part of the launch crowd way back when. When I got to 50, I found there wasn't much to do so I took a break for a while. And then that while pretty much became forever.

I'm about to have a few months in my schedule free up, so I started playing WoW (had never played) and I don't know... It wasn't that fun. Last Sunday I was like "You know what I had fun doing? Aion!" So I reopened my account and found my old character still sitting there waiting for me (With his Godstone still in his bank, thankfully). I've made a new main now and am once again enjoying the flapping wings of Aether Gathering. Can't wait to reach Eltnen and Abyss and start smacking around some filthy Blackwings again.

Seems I came back just in time too. Found a nice double XP weekend waiting for me, and new patch out today. I already hit 20!

its double xp till 2.0 i do believe. and WoW suckz! used to play then the wrath of the lich king came out and i was like meh F this.

I'm doing ok. Stuck at work, trolling message boards. I've got about 6 open at the moment.

Yeah, looks like I'm back. I've only played two days since my return, but I really had a great time. I ran about three parties last night into the Kaiden Stronghold for Krall Marks and when I was done and logged out I realized "Yeah, this is it. This game is what I'm looking for." It just has something WoW doesn't. Wings maybe?

I'm a Templar now though (it only took me to lvl 50 to realize that Chanters kind of suck), so I probably wouldn't be of much use to the legion for a while, unless you all miss Fire Temple and KHQ. Still, I thought I'd come by and say hi and hang out a bit. It's always good to have friends in the game and I'll be lvl 50 again one day.

Yeah, I was just kidding around a bit. Chanter was cool. He did a lot of fun stuff. It was a little hard to find a group at times though, since your pretty much -need- a temp, sorc and cleric. That's why I decided to try one of those. Plus less competition for loot rolls. Chanters always need a cleric with them, so there's always two people rolling for all the chain. You leathers have it easy.

you should re-join us man . most of us have alts 20/30/40s and could help you level you back to 50 again fast clear the campain and stuff. a good templar is always needed.

Oh, I'm sure I'll be back at some point. I didn't want to ask to be reinstated yet, since I'm such a low level (23 now. I got stuck doing parties repeatedly in Vert and have slowed down. That, and getting my gathers back up to 100. Need to go to Eltnen some time.)

My plan right now is to get my Templar up to KHQ/Steel Rake range, where you -must- have a party to advance, then maybe start practising with Emerson again, since I've forgotten what all his little buttons do. Then I should have no trouble finding a party, as I can play my templar mostly, and switch to Emerson when I can't find a group that needs a templar but can find one for a chanter.

It used to be frustrating because I had school at night and by the time I logged everyone already had groups picked out for the evening and all I would hear is "LFM DP/Theo Labs/Indratu/Steel Rake. Need Tank/CC." I'd be stuck farming silver coins, over and over, to get to 50. Of course, now all I'm going to hear is "LFM DP. GEARED ONLY."

Good to hear you need a templar though. My Templar's name is Jarin. I'll be sure to add you. I've got one more week of work left, then I can truely pick up my pace.
